Government legislation and public policy at the state and municipal levels have a significant impact on the quality of our lakes.

In the year ahead, NH LAKES will bring on new staff in this program area, increasing the organization’s ability to respond to critical issues at both the state and at the local level. NH LAKES will offer trainings to develop a statewide network for grassroots efforts, help local lake stewards to craft ordinances, and by working collaboratively with public works departments.
