Lakes Congress is our annual education, training, and networking event. It is designed for lake and other natural resource stewards, lake managers, business leaders, and municipal and political leaders to gain knowledge and skills to educate, advocate, and organize to restore and preserve the health of New Hampshire’s 1,000 lakes and ponds.

Our lakes are at a tipping point. We’re seeing more and more cyanobacteria blooms each year, and just this past summer, a new invasive species, the spiny water flea, was found in Lake Winnipesaukee and Lake Winnisquam.

While this news can feel overwhelming, there’s some reassuring news. There is a growing statewide community of people like you who love lakes working together to restore and protect lake health here in New Hampshire. Together, they are making our lakes more resilient to the threats of today and the future.
