A New Hampshire lake during summer

Lakes Congress Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Lakes Congress. Don’t see your question here? Contact us at info@nhlakes.org or 603.226.0299.

The event is full! Is there a chance I can show up and register on the day of the event?

We’re very excited there is so much interest in our 2023 Lakes Congress event. Unfortunately, we are at full capacity and unable to accept day-of-event registrations.

Where do I go to check in for Lakes Congress?

Check-in is located in the Upper Barn of Church Landing next to the Carriage House. When you turn into Church Landing from Route 3, the Upper Barn will be to the left and down the hill. Look for the white double doors. Please follow signs or ask a Mill Falls staff member for assistance.

What if there is more than one session at a time that I want to attend?

We’re so happy there’s so much at the event that interests you. We recommend lake associations and other lake groups send multiple representatives to Lakes Congress so that all sessions can be attended and reported back to their group.

Will presentation slides be available after the event?

Yes. Presentation slides will be posted on the Lakes Congress website after the event.

I registered, but I can’t find the sessions I registered for. How can I find out?

Your session choices are listed in the registration confirmation email that you received when you registered. When you receive your nametag at the Lakes Congress, your session choices will be indicated on your name tag.  To find out before then, follow these easy steps to check on your registration status and/or view your session choices. You can also print out your session choices as well.

  1. Visit the Login Page.
  2. Log in using your username and password or create one. Be sure to use the same email address you used to register for the event.
  3. Once logged in, select ‘My Event Registrations’ on the left-hand side.
  4. Find your Lakes Congress registration and click the blue ‘Details’ link on the right.
  5. View your session choices! If you wish to print, press the gray ‘Print’ button at the top right.

If you need to change or update your session choices, please contact us at info@nhlakes.org.

Is there a discount for staying overnight at Mill Falls?

Yes! As a Lakes Congress registrant, you will receive a special discounted rate to stay at any of the Mill Falls Inns in Meredith on Thursday, June 1. There are wonderful restaurants, shops, and scenery to enjoy in addition to the Thursday evening presentation.

Mill Falls is happy to extend the following special guestroom rates for Thursday evening, June 1:

  • Mill Falls Standard Queen: $139
  • Mill Falls Standard King with Balcony: $139
  • Chase House Lakeview King Balcony: $169
  • Church Landing Two Queen Beds: $229
  • Church Landing Lakeview King: $229

Click here to book your stay. (Rates cannot be changed upon arrival for any guests who did not identify themselves when making their reservation.)

The parking lot is full – where can I park?

Parking can fill up quickly at Church Landing. We recommend arriving early to secure a parking space. If parking is unavailable, please proceed north on Route 3 (with the lake on your right) to the Mill Falls Marketplace, located on the left just before the intersection of Route 3 and Route 25). There should be plenty of parking in this lot and it’s only a short 5-minute walk to Church Landing (with a great lake view!).

Do you have other questions?
