Courtney graduated from Keene State College in 2018 with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Biology. Following graduation, she served as an AmeriCorps member with the Student Conservation Association New Hampshire Corps, learning trail-building and backcountry skills. After living in the White Mountain National Forest and working for the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Courtney moved to the coast to join the NH LAKES team. Her various experiences have created a special place in her heart for wetlands, waterways, and waterbodies.

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, photography, and safely observing wildlife. She loves making memories by visiting new places with her partner, friends, family, and dog.
