Terry Mattson

Terry grew up in Deering, New Hampshire, and spent 30 years in Austin, Texas, where she built a successful career as an executive in the medical device and biopharmaceutical space. Terry holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University-Central Texas and an MBA from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.  

After a successful career, Terry retired early with a goal of joining organizations that focus on protecting New Hampshire waterbodies so that future generations could be fortunate to experience what she did growing up. NH LAKES was the obvious choice and she is excited to join the talented staff and board to accomplish the organization’s goals.  

Terry and her husband moved to New Hampshire in 2021 and now live full-time at their home on Crescent Lake in Acworth. Their two adult children love the lake and spend as much time there as possible.  

Terry is a contributing member of the Crescent Lake Association’s Water Quality Group and a founding Director of the CLEAR Trust. She was instrumental in raising awareness regarding the need for a Watershed Plan for Crescent Lake, which is now in progress.
